CapSure® PS2 Spine System
The CapSure® PS2 Spine System is a top loading pedicle screw system designed to treat degeneration, tumor, or trauma of the thoracolumbar spine. The system features a unique screw design that allows for its maximum polyaxial angulation even when the screw is fully seated into the pedicle. This function may not be possible with many traditional ‘tulip’ design pedicle screw systems.
The innovative tensioned screw head allows the screw to remain in any desired position. This simplifies rod placement by eliminating the screw head ‘flop’. Once the rod is inserted, a Locking Screw captures the rod into the screw. The truncated thread design of the Locking Screw resists cross-threading, resulting in a more stable construct.
