Posterior Platform

Salvo® 4.75 Spine System

This low-profile modular system allows the surgeon to assemble the screw in situ after decompression or to pre-assemble the screw on the back table, while all brand-new instrumentation offers increased efficiency and ease of use.

Assemble In Situ with Confidence

Salvo® Modular Fixation Technology demonstrates superior pull-apart to a pre-assembled screw in both axial and max angle testing (predicate device data on file). The 4.75 mm CoCr rod delivers the rigidity of a traditional 5.5 mm Ti Alloy rod, while the optional 4.75 mm Ti Alloy rod allows for an all-titanium construct.

Truly Next Gen Instrumentation

The Salvo® 4.75 System allows for use in both the cortical bone trajectory and the traditional transpedicular approach. Streamlined instrumentation features diamond like carbon (DLC) coating, a high hardness and wear resistant coating. Navigation-ready instruments are available for approved image guidance systems.

  • Head inserter provides positive confirmation of implant assembly with a click of a button
  • Screwdrivers offer a locking feature and is designed to have the same footprint as the screw head to assist in leaving adequate space for proper implant assembly in situ
  • Full array of rod manipulation and reduction instruments

Attributes of the Salvo® 4.75 Spine System

  • Screw design provides easy screw adjustment and 60° of polyaxial angulation
  • Triple lead thread for faster insertion
  • 2.0 mm pitch for optimal purchase in cortical bone
  • Anti-splay locking screw with bow tie thread form
  • Salvo® Screw is manufactured of all titanium
  • 4.75 mm rods offered in both CoCr and Ti alloy

Spine Wave offers instrumentation which has been FDA cleared for use with navigation during the preparation and placement of the Salvo® Spine System.  Please see product labeling for more information.
